Groomy : Frequently asked questions

Groomy Free

We have included everything that is necessary to carry out a breeding register : registering arrival and departure dates of horses, keeping record of sanitary acts on horses, keeping record of prescriptions, ...

Every month, we freeze your breeding register at month M-2 in PDF format so that you can present it in case of control.

Yes, you can delete horses from your Groomy, but be careful not to delete them too quickly, as it is necessary to wait for the breeding register to freeze to keep track of them.

Please note that your breeding register is generated 2 months after you have entered your information.

To go beyond the 5 horse-package, you just have to subscribe to the upper package, discover all our options which will meet your needs here. 

 

NB: If you have reached 5 horses and you have the "Free Groomy" package, you can delete one to add another one, but the deleted horse data will be permanently lost.

Access / Connection to Groomy

Absolutely, Groomy is accessible on computers, mobiles and tablets.

Indeed, several sessions can be connected at the same time on your Groomy account. Thus, you can even be several on different devices (computers, smartphones, tablets).

 

You are a structure with several users and you need different accesses? It is totally possible with Groomy.  On the same session, you can give access to several users, the advantages are the following: history of the information entered, simultaneous connections and entries, restricted access by user (invoicing, acts, etc...).

Horse file

Groomy has been developed to meet the needs of these specific cases, so you can assign a horse to several owners.

You can grant each of the owners with percentages: regarding ownership, various fees, redistribution of earnings, of livery fees and of breeding contract.

Yes, on your act views, you can extend the search to a desired date, then select all or part of the acts to export the information in CSV or Excel format and share it with your clients.

With Groomy, you can find all the tasks to be done on a given day for each of your horses. Thus, you can schedule tasks and reminders so that you don't forget about vaccine reminders, deworming or the farrier's visit...

This listing is automatically generated and allows you to be better organised yourself and not forget anything.

Invoicing option

The Groomy invoicing option enables you to invoice your customers for all types of services.

With Groomy, you can benefit from automatic invoicing for liveries but also of the acts carried out, trainings fees, etc...

When a new horse arrives in your stables, you add it within the software: you are then offered to open a livery. Your livery rates are pre-set in the software and each month, if your horse is still in your stable, you will be asked to invoice the owner for the livery.

Yes, it is possible, you can send one or more invoices at the same time to the same customer.

You can also create customised e-mail templates, choose the sender of the e-mail, the content and the recipient of the invoice(s). Once the invoice is sent, it is possible to know the date of sending and the date of reception (date of opening of the e-mail) of the invoice.

Yes, it is possible to export one or more invoices and reintegrate them into your accounting software.

This setting option will be explained during the onboarding. By subscribing to Groomy Pro, you benefit from 2h of onboarding (setting up your Groomy space) and unlimited access to our training videos.

Groomy allows you to manage the payments but also the outstanding ones.

It is possible to send reminders by e-mail and even to use standard letters so as to save time and automatically send reminders for your unpaid invoices.

Security / Control

You are the sole owner of your data which is confidential and secure. Our privacy policy is very clear on this matter.

If all the data is correctly entered, the breeding register is automatically generated. This is the document that must be presented in case of control (it allows the follow-up of the acts carried out on this or that horse, on such a date, etc...).

By subscribing to Groomy Pro, an onboarding programme will be provided to give you all the keys to use Groomy. You will also have access to our training videos and webinars. 

You can leave Groomy anyday, with no additional cost. You just have to export your data and the pdf of your registers to start on another software if you wish.
