The digital shift in the equine sector is no longer a prediction, it’s a reality. Since its launch in 2018, Groomy (developed by Equidéclic) has evolved from a helpful tool into the definitive management solution for equine professionals.

Groomy 2025 : Reaching new heights in equine management

This past year has been a landmark for the platform. Today, over 3,900 users have chosen Groomy to power their daily operations.

The scale of Groomy’s impact continues to expand. We now manage 722,322 horses across France and internationally, an increase of 42,322 compared to last year. These figures are a testament to the growing trust the industry places in our vision.

2025 : The year in numbers

Our community is more active than ever. Here is a snapshot of what we achieved together in 2025:

• 3,197 active accounts driving the industry forward.

• 25,286 covering contracts generated directly through the platform.

• 2,923 electronic signatures, proving that digital security is becoming the standard.

• €159,000,000 in transactions processed via our invoicing tools.

This growth is backed by Equidéclic’s commitment to innovation, with €178,000 invested in R&D this year alone to ensure Groomy stays ahead of the curve.

2024 vs 2025 : A sector in evolution

 

While 2025 saw a slight global cooling in stallion activity in France, Groomy’s role has never been more vital. Despite a minor dip in the total number of covering contracts (25,286 vs 25,689 in 2024), the digital transition is accelerating rapidly.

The most striking trend? A 66% surge in the use of electronic signatures. This isn't just about saving paper; it’s about administrative agility and preparing for upcoming electronic invoicing reforms. By adopting these digital workflows now, our users are ensuring a seamless transition to new legal requirements before they become mandatory.

Furthermore, Groomy has become a financial powerhouse for stables. The total volume of payments processed jumped from €113 million to €159 million, a massive 40% increase.

Innovation : Better features, simpler daily life

We believe software should adapt to you, not the other way around. In 2025, we took two major steps forward:

1. Electronic invoicing with Docoon Invoice: We’ve integrated Docoon Invoice natively. This means Groomy is now your certified platform for the new invoicing reforms, keeping all your compliance needs under one roof.

2. The new microchip and temperature reader: Perhaps our most exciting hardware launch yet. This tool allows you to identify a horse and record its temperature in one go, with all data synced instantly to your Groomy app.
